2. File > Open “Man.png” “Man_1.jpg” and “Man_2.jpg”

3. Starting with “Man.png” use the quick select tool to select only his torso from this image. (Remember, when using Quick Select, clicks and small drags are more effective than long drags. Photoshop isn’t as smart as you. Also, don’t be afraid to zoom in, this will also allow for a better selection. For tricky areas, I just use the Lasso tool, remembering to hold Shift or Option for adding to[+], or detracting from[-] the selection.)

4. Then, copy & paste into “Background.jpg” and use (Command+T) to free transform, right click inside bounding box, and select Flip Horizontal and press Enter

5. From “Man_1.jpg” you will be selecting only his legs, except for the foot making contact with the ground using the same methods

6. Use the Lasso tool to add laces to selection (holding shift)

7. Then, copy & paste into “Background.jpg” and use (Command+T) to free transform, right click inside bounding box, and select Flip Horizontal

8. Then, right click again inside the bounding box and select Warp.

9. Move waist to line up with jacket and press enter

10. Finally, from “Man_2.jpg” you will be selecting only the front foot. Don’t worry about the laces.

11. Then, copy & paste into “Background.jpg” and use (Command+T) to free transform, right click inside bounding box, and select Flip Horizontal and press Enter

12. You should have an intact falling man now!
